What is Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween?
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (or simply Goosebumps 2 as marketed on home release) is a stand-alone sequel to 2015's Goosebumps, which was also based on R. L. Stine's book series. The movie is directed by Ari Sandel and written by Rob Lieber from a story by Lieber and Darren Lemke. The plot of the movie
The movie follows two young friends, Sonny and Sam, who find a magic book that brings a ventriloquist's dummy named Slappy to life. Slappy wants to create his own family of monsters by using his magic words to animate Halloween decorations and costumes. He also wants to take revenge on R. L. Stine for locking him up in the book. Sonny and Sam team up with Sonny's sister Sarah and their neighbor Mr. Chu to stop Slappy and his army of monsters from destroying their town on Halloween night.
